Mental health coaching services

I work with people in Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia and around the world. 

Mental health coaching is about helping people move forward and create meaningful changes for a better future. As a mental health coach, I help individuals make sustainable, healthy changes and support them on their health journey so that they can live the life they want.

I primarily offer mental health support to people with mild to moderate anxiety, dealing with stress or going through difficult experiences. The tools and strategies I use are suitable for a wide range of people, including folks dealing with ME/CFS, Long Covid, perimenopause, ADHD, autism and AuDHD. I also work with people wanting to increase their resilience and enhance their mental fitness and overall wellbeing.

As a Certified Mental Health Coach, my work is focused on the present and the future. My approach is evidence-based, trauma-informed, neurodiverse-affirming and LGBTQIA+ friendly.

What kind of support I provide

Mental health coaching is a new approach to mental health support that includes coaching, tools and exercises from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and work on a wide range of healthy habits and practices that can enhance your mental, physical and overall health.

ACT techniques can help anyone who struggles with difficult thoughts, symptoms and emotions. They can help you identify what kind of life you want to live, and how to move towards this.

Working on your day-to-day practices can help increase your resilience and support your wellbeing. We can focus on the factors you want to improve, which could include connection, nutrition, movement, rest, sleep, meaning, engagement or vitality. We will stay on your agenda here – you decide what changes you want to make, along with when and why.

Rather than talking about the past, we will focus on the present and the future. We will use goal-setting and a practical strategy framework to help you move forward towards the life you want.

How it works

Here's an overview of the process from start to finish:

  1. Schedule a free online consultation with me

  2. Book a package (see options below)

  3. Schedule your mental health coaching: in-person in Wellington NZ or online via video call

  4. Experience personal mental health coaching, learn ACT techniques and create healthy practices to help you live the life you want

  5. Receive a written summary after each session

  6. At the end of your programme: reflect on your progress, celebrate wins and look to the future


Please note that I do not diagnose clients, prescribe medication or advise clients to alter their treatment plan from their usual healthcare provider. I can, however, offer support and guidance on how you might go about having these conversations if needed.

I offer outdoor mental health coaching in south Wellington, including walk-and-talk, sit-and-talk or conversations over coffee.
